What information do we collect?

We collect information from you when you register on our site, place an order, respond to a survey or fill out a form. When ordering or registering on our site, as appropriate, you may be asked to enter your: name, e-mail address, mailing address, phone number, or credit card information. An identifier is saved if you log in, so that you may log in again in the same account. You may, however, visit our site anonymously.

We don't want any more information about you other than what we need to help you translate. Your information, whether public or private, will not be sold, exchanged, transferred, or given to any other company for any reason whatsoever, without your consent, other than for the expressed purpose of delivering the purchased product or service requested.

What do we use your personal information for?

  • Contacting you regarding your inquiries and orders;

  • Shipping a physical document translation to an address you provide.

If necessary, the data we possess may be communicated to entities outside the company, for example, to translators working on your project or the postal service for delivery of your project. Rights: You have the opportunity at any time to access your personal data and to request rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or extraction in a portable format. You have the right to opt out of sale of your data, but we never sell any data, so there is no need. You also have the right against discrimination because you exercised the rights available to you, and the the right to protection against waiver of rights. The email address you provide for order processing, will only be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your order. We will not add you to a mailing list — in fact we don't even have a mailing list.

How do we protect your information?

We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information when you place an order or enter, submit, or access your personal information.

We offer the use of a secure server. All supplied sensitive/credit information is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our Payment gateway providers database only to be accessible by those authorized with special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential.

After a transaction, your private information (credit cards, financials, etc.) will not be stored on our servers.

Refunds

In most cases, clients pay in advance for the work to be done. Refunds are happily given when requested for work that has not been completed or will not be completed. For instance, if you paid for a translation of a 2-page document and, during the translation process we realize that both pages are identical, we will refund you the amount paid for the second page. Any requests for refunds for work that has already been completed, whether delivered or not, or partially completed will be reimbursed at the discretion of Babble-on Inc.
