Hey, why do you charge more than my crappy current translation service I care not to mention?
Honestly?
This is what it costs to get it right the first time.
Most localization companies assign your project to anyone available to work immediately. These anonymous translators often don't even have their own user name . They'll be plenty of mistakes, and if you catch them yourself, they might even fix them! If you're internationalizing without really wanting to, maybe this cheaper option is good enough.
The price we charge is what good translators charge us, and we employ only the best translators. Instead of hiring us to redo all of the translations you get from a cheaper vendor, hire us the first time and save money and peace of mind.
Hi, ATP listener
What about AI?

AI translation is awesome — until it’s not. We think it works really well for large companies that we can train the AI on hundreds of thousands of correctly translated texts. For smaller companies or individual developers, it works in places where you just wouldn’t have paid to translate (maybe a knowledge center). And it's fast! So if you need placeholder translations right away, it works great. Ultimately, AI best works in tandem with humans.
Human review of AI translation is critical because it does sometimes make stuff up. That’s the number one issue we see with AI — not so much wrong translations as in what the f$%^&? translations. It occasionally hallucinates extra words or context for itself that is often the opposite of what you meant. Most frequent with shorter phrases, this can be trouble for software.
But you knew that already! If you’ve coded with Claude you have seen how smart it is and how dumb it is. The problem with translating into another language is that you don’t see that for yourself. That’s where Babble-on can really help you!
So are we the right localization company for you?
We are the right translation team for you if you expect translations done right the first time, and if you want expert help from start to finish (and after). We assign the same translator to your project forever — every update remains consistent and correct with the same translator working. We have a dedicated English-native project manager, who is also a translator, assigning the right people and overseeing everything. When you're done, we have you upload QA screenshots for our team to double-check at no added cost.
