Located in downtown San Francisco, Babble-on is an uncommon copywriting and translation company. We are small and dedicated to the art of language. We are devoted to words in the same way florists adore spring, and photographers love the Golden Gate bridge. Our approach is very personal and effective, and we have clients all around the world who speak dozens of languages to prove it.

Benny Zadik. Since he
first said "mama," Benny has had an affinity for language. He has lived
in such far-flung places as Japan, Brazil, Ukraine, Colombia and Israel. He holds
a degree in Writing from Pomona College as well as a Master's degree in Latin
American Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. Nationality: American

Salim Martell. Growing up as a pseudo-interpreter for his Spanish-speaking parents, Salim learned to code-switch at a young age and became fascinated with the unique nuances of language. He taught himself French and later picked up Japanese while in undergrad. He holds a degree in Japanese Studies from Middlebury College and is pursuing a Masters in Localization at the Middlebury Institute of International Studies in Monterey. Always moving around, he’s lived in Mexico, various corners of the U.S., Japan, and Brazil. Favorite hobbies include playing video games, traveling, and learning languages. Nationality: American

Sabine Winter. After gaining practical
experience for several years as a legal assistant both in Germany and the
U.S., and inspired by her role as law firm in-house translator,
Sabine set out on her own. As an independent translator, she now specializes
in legal translations and—her favorite—website localization.

Lorena Vicente. Lorena
graduated from the Lenguas Vivas "John
F. Kennedy" Translation School in Buenos Aires, Argentina. After working
in-house for a local engineering company for several years, since 2004
she has been working as a freelance translator, specializing in technical,
medical, and engineering translation. She has extensive knowledge in discourse analysis,
linguistics, and regional variations of Spanish, and serves as Vice President of the International Association of Professional Translators and Interpreters (IAPTI).Nationality: Argentine

Raffaele Tutino. Since 2003, Raffaele has been a translator, reviewer, trans-creator and post-editor from English and French into Italian. His speciality is localization of software and websites. Raffaele holds a degree in Foreign Languages and Literature from the Università degli Studi di Napoli “L’Orientale” and a Master's in Localization from the Agenzia formativa tuttoEUROPA, Turin, Italy. Raffaele also works as a lecturer in CAT Tools and Localization. AITI qualified member, Proz Certified, Pro and SDL Trados Studio certified.

Sonia Martín. A native
of Valladolid, Spain, Sonia has a degree in Translation & Interpretation
from the University of Salamanca. Nationality: Spanish

Rita Mendes. A Portuguese
translator living in the USA, Rita started her career as a researcher and consultant
in Terminology. She holds Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Linguistics,
and has experience translating a variety of texts, ranging from technical manuals

Grazia
Fronzuto Moschovas. Grazia has always had a true interest in
diverse languages and cultures. She graduated from La Sapienza University
in Rome, Italy, with a Master's degree in Foreign Languages and Literature,
majoring in both English and Italian. In 1996, she moved to California
where, after a few years of teaching Italian, she has been working as
a freelance translator.

Thomas Shou. Born and raised in the USA, Thomas
is a senior Chinese translation consultant with over 10 years of translation
and interpretation experience in both US and Asia, as well as over 5 years of
experience in managing high-tech marketing communication projects. In the summer
of 2005, Thomas established SinoTrans International, a full-service multilingual
agency that specializes in delivering high-quality, reliable and accurate Asian
document/website/software localization solutions for all types of industries.
He began his marketing communications career at Chinese high-tech startups in
the nineties. He has a Master’s degree in Modern Chinese Literature from the
University of Colorado at Boulder and a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature
from Reed College in Portland, Oregon.Nationality: Chinese (American-born)

Dennis Seine. Dennis is responsible for
Dutch translation and revision projects. He has lived, studied and worked
in different locations all over the world, including the Netherlands, Belgium,
Italy, the United States and New Zealand. Dennis has now settled in Portland,
ME, approximately two hours north of Boston, MA. He is a member of several professional
translation organizations, including the Association of Maine Interpreters and
Translators, the New England Translators Association and the American Translators
Association. He holds a Master’s degree in Dutch language, literature and culture
from the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen in the Netherlands and has completed the
post-Master’s teacher’s course. Dennis taught Dutch at several high schools in
the Netherlands and Dutch as a second language at the Rijksuniversiteit Groningen.
He has worked as a part-time translator and proofreader since 1999.Nationality: Dutch

L. Balasubramaniam. Balasubramaniam is passionate
about Hindi. He completed his education in Lucknow and Delhi, and has a Master’s
degree in Hindi from Delhi University as well as a Master’s degree in Computer
Applications. After serving as Writer-Translator for 20 years in an educational
institution, Bala took up freelancing as an English-Hindi translator in 2007.
There is more to Bala than just translation: he is a regular writer of articles,
short stories, children’s stories and essays in English and Hindi, which have
appeared in many reputable publications in India.Nationality: Indian

Nozomi Azegami. Having a father who was a poet and an editor, she has had a strong interest in language since an early age. Nozomi has a Bachelor's degree from the College of Art at Nihon University in Tokyo and a Master's from the College of Communication at Boston University. After working at software companies full time as an in-house translator/editor, she became a freelance translator in 2000.Nationality: Japanese
