computer translation
Man versus Machine
(Free online translations)
Computerized translation is a service freely available
on the Internet. It is useful to get the basic idea of a simple foreign text.
However, it has many inaccuracies and even the best online translation is hardly
comparable to any human
translator. In part this is because words have different meanings based on
context, and computers see every word as having a single definition. Moreover,
grammar rules are difficult and often bent or broken in modern languages. For
all these reasons, a computer cannot yet even approximate a human translator.

Ready for something more professional?
After trying out your text with free computer translation, you may have a vague

help. I do my own translations and work with a core group of native speakers
to produce excellent, pristine prose that you can be confident about.
