Babble-On is proud to offer you personalized service. All the writing services are done by Benny Zadik, an experienced and talented writer, editor, and translator. Translation is done by our small, enthusiastic group that specializes in translation, localization, and editing in our working languages. Unlike agencies that will contract out your job to whomever will work cheapest regardless of qualifications, at Babble-On we do all our own translations. You can speak with your translator whenever you need to, ensuring your job is done how you want it, and when you need it.
Meet our team:
Thomas Shou. Born and
raised in the USA, Thomas is a senior Chinese translation consultant with over
10 years of translation/interpretation experience in both US and Asia, as well
as over 5 years of experience in managing high-tech marketing communication projects.
In the summer of 2005, Thomas established SinoTrans International, a full-service
multilingual agency that specializes in delivering high-quality, reliable and
accurate Asian document/website/software localization solutions for all type
of industries. He began his marcom career in Chinese high-tech startups in the
nineties. He has a Master??s degree in Modern Chinese Literature from the University
of Colorado at Boulder and a Bachelor??s degree in English Literature from Reed

Benny Zadik. Since he
has been old enough to walk, Benny has wanted to do nothing else but travel.
He has already visited over 30 countries and lived in such far-flung places as
Japan, Brazil, and Israel. He holds a degree in Writing as well as Master's
degree in Latin American Studies from the University of California at Berkeley.

Lucy Cheng. A native
of Beijing, China, Lucy is a talented Chinese translator and interpreter, equally
comfortable in either language. She is interested not only in language, but in
business opportunities and learning increasingly more skills.

Sonia Martín. A native
of Valladolid, Spain, Sonia has a degree in Translation & Interpretation
from the University of Salamanca.

Rita Mendes. A Portuguese
translator living in the USA, Rita started her career as a researcher and consultant
in Terminology. She holds Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Linguistics,
and has experience translating a variety of texts, ranging from technical manuals
to subtitling.

Lena Redko. Born and
raised in Kiev, Lena moved to beautiful San Francisco at the age of 22. Like
most Ukrainians, she was raised completely bilingual in Russian and Ukrainian.
Lena holds a BA in Linguistics and a Master??s degree in Management and Marketing.
She has extensive experience both as an interpreter and translator and is currently

Beatrice Basso. A native
of the Veneto region in Italy, Beatrice has lived between east and west coasts
for the past nine years and currently resides in the woods of Santa Cruz, CA.
She has written and translated extensively for the Italian Cultural Institute
in San Francisco, for various theaters around the country, and in several publications??both
Italian and American. Her background is in the classical languages, with a degree
